Hailing from Texas and now making waves in Los Angeles, Adelaide Pilar seamlessly blends her Latina, Mexican American roots with musical prowess as a singer and trumpeter.
With a Master's Degree in Afro-Latin Music and a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Studies, multiple music recordings, self-directed and award-winning music videos, and live performances across stages, television, and for large corporations such as Disney and Knott's Berry Farm, she embodies diverse musical traditions and platforms.

RECORDINGS
In 2019, her debut album Reflexiones De Mi Mente showcased a unique perspective, merging cumbia, funk, reggae, reggaeton, and hip-hop into a resonating sound.
Since then, she has consistently released singles with hits such as “Suavecito Suavecito”, “No Mames Bro", “Chonies”, and many more.
In 2024, she partnered wth Asdru Sierra (singer/trumpeter from Grammy-Award winning Ozomatli) to create recording label Chido Records, and they released their first EP entitled Cumbias For
Lovers. This EP featured romantic classics such as Peaches and Herb’s “Reunited” and Parton and Rogers’ “Islands in the Stream,” rearranged with Asdru and Adelaide’s signature urban Cumbia sound.
In 2025, she also collaborated with Ignacio Serricchio on the single release of “Para No Verte Mas", as well as with Nancy Sanchez on their original duet “A Woman Like Me,” for which Adelaide also directed the music video.

MUSIC FILM MAKING
Aside from releasing music recordings, Adelaide has also been producing her own music videos. In 2025, she began entering her films into independent film festivals and has already made a name for herself in the circle of Latina and female filmmakers. With a strong sense of Latino pride, humor, and women's empowerment, five of her videos have been selected and won awards in over 15 festivals. “The Rocky Cumbia” has already been selected for over 11 festivals, “Chonies” just won best music video at the historic Cine Las Americas Independent Film Festival, and her new
video “Los Chucos Suaves” has already begun to be selected.

PERFORMANCE COLLABORATION
Beyond solo efforts, Adelaide flourished with the Grammy Award-winning Mariachi Divas from 2007 to 2011, gained prominence on LA VOZ Mexico 2018, toured with Andy Grammer in 2022, and collaborated many times with multi-Grammy Award-winning Ozomatli. She’s also performed backup for artists such as Albita, Maluma, La Lupe, Ana Barbara, Barbara Mason, La India, and Lupita Infante.

CHIDO ENTERTAINMENT
Adelaide has spent many years performing and working in the corporate music scene. She has also been a Latin music icon for the Disneyland Park Resort since 2014 and at Knott’s Berry Farm since 2017. Creating so many shows for such diverse audiences, Adelaide naturally fell into show production.
In 2020, she became the Show & Production Manager for the Concertize Co. There, she created Latin tribute shows in cities across the country for Fever’s Latin Candlelight Series. These shows consisted of local musicians paying homage to artists such as Juan Gabriel, José José, and Luis Miguel, as well as some special Day of the Dead Shows. After creating a pool of bands and musicians to pull from, she began her music consulting company, Chido Entertainment, which consults with and provides companies and individuals with live music entertainment. Her specialty is various forms of Latin music. Aside from other Latin acts, Chido Entertainment manages 5 of Adelaide’s shows, which consist of Adelaide Pilar, The Selena Tribute, The Latin Divas Tribute (Gloria Estefan, Celia Cruz, and Selena), The Christmas Band, and her newest production, Burlesque Del Barrio. In 2026, a new event/trademark entitled "The Chingona TakeOver" was created. This event aimed to feature Latina music artists, dancers, fashion designers, female lowriders, and more, and has already achieved great success with future dates already in the calendar.

EDUCATOR
Adelaide also nurtures many artists' talents and takes great interest in music education for people of all ages. With a Master’s Degree in music, she has experience with school band (elementary through high school), college lectures, and private instruction for singing, piano, trumpet, and trombone. She currently teaches privately and works with various band programs in LA and Orange County.

MUSIC FOR A CAUSE
Adelaide is a firm believer in music as a way to heal, help communicate, and support one another. A few projects she has consistently worked with are Holo Communities, Saint Mathew’s Music Guild, and she is also a part of the musician collective called Mind the Music, which holds performances to help promote mental health awareness. Adelaide Pilar continues pushing boundaries and performing extensively. Her love for music is undeniable, no matter how she presents it. Her journey is an inspiring celebration of heritage and artistic innovation that all can enjoy.
